Dear River Oaks Elementary Families,

It is with great joy and heartfelt enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of River Oaks Elementary. I am honored to join a school community that is known for its dedication to excellence, its nurturing spirit, and its commitment to every child’s success.

With 27 years in education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching grades 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, serving as an interventionist for four years, and leading in administration for the past decade. Each role has deepened my passion for learning and strengthened my belief in the power of relationships, resilience, and reflection.

As a family-oriented educator, I understand the importance of partnership between home and school. Together, we can create a safe, joyful, and inspiring environment where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to shine.

I believe in being the light—bringing positivity, hope, and encouragement into every space I enter. My goal is to support our students, staff, and families with compassion, clarity, and a commitment to growth. I look forward to learning alongside you, celebrating our successes, and working through challenges with grace and grit.
