Dear River Oaks Families,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year! As I begin my second year as principal of River Oaks Elementary School, I want to thank you for the warm support, partnership, and trust you have shown throughout the past year. Reflecting on my first year, I am incredibly proud of all that we have accomplished together and even more excited about the opportunities ahead.

For more than 20 years, my passion for education has guided my journey as a teacher, counselor, and school leader. My commitment remains the same: to create an environment where every student thrives, every educator feels supported, and every family feels welcomed and valued. At River Oaks, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence, equity, and innovation while ensuring that every child has the support needed to reach their full potential.

As a wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two, I understand the importance of strong school-family partnerships. With a husband who served in the military, I have also experienced firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with transitions and change. These experiences have strengthened my belief that every child deserves a nurturing, high-expectation learning environment where they feel seen, supported, and empowered.

At River Oaks Elementary School, we believe that strong partnerships between home and school create the foundation for student achievement. I look forward to continuing our work together as we inspire learning, celebrate growth, and create memorable experiences for every student.
